The first step on the PADI career ladder!
Divemaster is to anticipate and respond to the needs of PADI instructors and their students. Learn dive leadership techniques in class, practical sessions, and independent study. Complements water skills and endurance tests, as well as training exercises that extend your ability to organize and solve problems, as well as help others improve their diving.
REQUIREMENTS
- To be over 18 years old
- Have Rescue Diver & EFR certification
- 40 logged dives
- Diving computer, compass, buoy and reel as minimum equipment.

- The role and characteristics of the PADI Divemaster
- Supervise diving activities and help with student divers
- Diver safety and risk management
- Programs led by Divemasters and specialized techniques
- The business of diving and your professional career
- Awareness about the diving environment
- Organize and lead dives
- Make a map of an open water dive site
- Carry out diving briefings
- Organize a search and recovery project and a deep dive
- Lead a scuba review and a skin diver course
- Assist with Discover Scuba Diving programs and guide Discover Local Diving programs
